like a fool,i threw the old ones away when i ordered new one's.wish i had them i'd put them back in.rookie mistake i'am paying for that now.

With a magnifying glass and a light (or none of these if your eyes are good!), can you see if there is an oversize stamped anywhere on the rings? I'd be looking for 0.25, 0.5, 0.75 or 1.00. At least that will show what size they are and from this you can work out the part number and then sell them on to cover some of your outlay.
