Help with rings was created by GEORGIA

Bought a set of rings off Ebay, they don't fit in the cylinder.what set do I need.

Well, you haven't exactly given us a whole lot of concrete information to go on . . . . . other then the clues one can gather from the picture you posted.

Judging from the part number of the rings pictured, your bike is probably a 74 DT125. . . . Correct???
Based on the numbers shown on the piston crown, you have a standard size piston.

The rings you have are for a second oversize piston, so will not fit into the standard size (smaller) bore.
If all of my assumptions are correct, then you will need some standard size rings with the part number 444-11610-00

Ok,time for the experts again. Ordered another set of ring's from Ebay. (70.00) these look like 2 over size rings.i think package is correct but rings are wrong.looks like the last set I bought. I just want to put this project back together

Whats your ring end gap with the rings in the bore? Looks like the right part number.

Pay close attention to the last two digits of the part number...

First set you got were marked -20. Too big.

This set looks like it's marked -30? (even bigger)

You need -00

Do you still have the old rings? how do they compare to the new ones? How far did they overlap when you put them in the bore? have you mic-ed the bore?

My eyes are not that good. Smudge made it look like a 3. :Ugh

This looks like an "open box" issue where someone mixed up parts over the years. Hopefully you can find some -00 rings.
