I need blinkers, a complete taillight assembly, And someone to repack my exhaust. Anyone have any bikes they are parting out cause I’d love to buy parts cheaper. If you guys can help me on my search so I don’t end up buying nos blinkers for 300 dollars that would be really appreciated.

Post up details about what model you have and someone here might be able to help.

There is also a Facebook group “Vintage Yamaha Enduro Fans” where items come up for sale pretty frequently.

I went the route of cheap plastic remakes ($10-15 on eBay) with future plans to replace them with originals if I ever see any pop up at a reasonable price.

Blukas,

If you are in the US, you don't need turn signals, as they were not offered (or required) before 1973. Also, if it's got a stock exhaust, then there's nothing to pack. The stock taillight is rare, so you'll probably have to do some searching. Best of luck! You have a very desirable bike there.

That is good news, I have the taillight assembly just no lens and no bulb, it is extremely rusty but I’ll try to repair it, get new hardware, etc.

And my exhaust is extremely loud to the point that none of my neighbors that hang outside feel comfortable with it. It sounds straight piped and the exhaust is completely rotted out with lots of rust holes and part of the insulation has come apart.

The 71 Enduro taillights are all the same. Don't limit your search to the CT1. There are replacement lenses on ebay for $25 to $30. I agree turnsignals are not required in the U.S. but I bought the plastic turnsignals someone else mentioned and they look OK, like any turnsignals plastic or metal from those bikes, if you fall they break.

It’s still good to have turn signals because some people on the road won’t know why your waving your hand to signal and accidentally hit you. My bike was set up later for blinkers cause I have a switch for them.

Right now I’m stripping the paint off of the tail light and I’m gonna order a new rear brake sensor when I get back from my vacation.
