I’m a new member to the site looking for some help with a wiring problem. Trying to put a 1975 175motor in a 1976 175 enduro . Wiring color coding does not match on the 1976 as opposed to the 1975 motor. Not really interested in using anything electrical on the bike. Just looking to wiring the mag and get this bike running. Is there a easy wiring solution to my problem. HELP

Black wire from stator to black wire in stator harness on bike is all it needs to run. Leave everything else disconnected.

Or run black wire from stator directly to ignition coil primary lead. Tee in a wire to a kill button that grounds when you press it to stop engine.
