Hi everyone!
I'm a newish motorcycle enthusiast, only got into it last year. I currently own a 1978 Honda Hawk and a 1995 Yamaha XT350, which I bought for real cheap (for good ) back in January. It's a real piece of work, I've already got the engine almost completely torn apart because of the main crankshaft retaining nut coming loose and wrecking havoc on the right side crankcase cover, completely eating through the main oil passage. This is my first time getting this deep into an engine, so I'll be happy to get some help along the way. I have most of the images and stuff that I've done from another forum, so I'll start working on cross-posting that here when I get the time.
About me: I'm a young electrical engineer who frankly has no business messing with mechanical stuff, but I find it a lot of fun. I can (and will) always find something to tinker with, regardless of which discipline it's in. Why I keep picking bikes with practically no advanced electronics inside them is beyond me, it makes for some interesting learning though.
