Hello everyone! I've got a 1972 RT2 that I inherited from my father. It's been completely torn down and in parts since about 1976. I plan to restore it and then get it running again. It's got some rust here and there (some parts worse than others) and I will need to prime and paint everything. I am not a mechanic but, I do have a manual. This website keeps coming up in search results as I work through different questions. So, I figured it was a good idea to join the community as I think it will be invaluable in completing the rebuild. Thanks for having me.

Welcome and look at the top of the page.. the tech library has a digital manual as well. My “old grey mule” , RT2, is sooo much fun to ride.

I don't have a specific road trip planned when it's back up and running. But, I plan to ride it quite a bit. Thanks for the welcome!
