Hey everybody! This is my first bike and I bought it as a project. I’ve found it hard to get information about the At2m bike and was hoping to find some other people who know a little more about the bikes on here. If so let me know!

right now I am trying to figure out a throttle cable. I found out that it was probably a y split cable that goes to the auto line pump and carb. Do y’all have any recommendations that may work?

Welcome!

Fixed your typo...  you might check CMSNL as they  have about the only AT2M/AT3M parts list I've ever seen online

www.cmsnl.com/yamaha-at2m-motocross-1973...model8416/partslist/

Yes, the cable is split and be aware some parts are different than the "Enduro" model like the seat, airbox, carb, and pipe and can be hard to find and expensive if you do.

It's rare to see one with the autolube intact....  Some of the manuals are available in the Tech Library here (AT2M and AT3M are very close to the same and might even be identical)
1963 YG1-T, 1965 MG1-T, Allstate 250, 1970 CT1b, 1971 R5, 1973 AT3MX, 1974 TS400L, 1975 RD350, 1976 DT175C, 1976 Husqvarna 250CR, 1981 DT175G, 1988 DT50, 1990 "Super" DT50, 1991 RT180, 2017 XT250

I have a 1972 Yamaha AT2M and installed the oil pump that was originally on the bike. Because of the expansion chamber the oil pump cable itself had to have the rubber removed for clearance reasons. My bike was purchased by the original owner when he was 12 or 13 and needed to walk the bike home. I purchased all the cables from KDI Reproductions and everything fit well. You probably won’t find the air box and you will pay a fortune for the correct front fender. I sold mine and went aftermarket.
