Hey!  I'm happy to find this forum.  I was lucky enough to be given a 1972 JT2 MX from a coworker.... free!  I have son turning 12 next week, and we will be working on the bike together.... he"s pretty pumped about it (so am I to be honest).  It's pretty complete, but needs work all around.  I think its the coolest little bike.  Just ordered our first haul of parts including cables, tires, kickstart shaft, carb kit and tank badges.  Planning to start with a deep clean, get it running, service the front forks, check out the brakes etc..... then get a few miles on it this summer.  Maybe a full tear down and resto next season.  Looks forward to learning from all of you!
