Oil line replacement was created by Yamalol
Hey folks,
Looking for a recommendation for a replacement oil line going from the oil pump to the engine on my 1974 DT250. The old oil line is brittle, and cracked when I removed the banjo fitting. The ID was easy enough to match at my local auto parts store, however the OD on all of their offerings is far to big.

Yamaha still sells it along with the correct little coiled spring steel clamps if needed. #19 is the hose, #20 is the clamps

Fuel and oil pipes/hoses are generally now supplied in standard lengths, so you might need to cut to your required length. As always, measure twice, cut once!

If you use just an accessory piece of hose be sure it's not too thin which could link easy if you have a sharp bend. Just gentle curves is good.

Listen to Alan... unfortunately my experience is often something like "I cut it twice and it's still too short!"
