At a push you could use strimmer plastic cutting chord.
That will do the job a treat.

Some cheap covers don't have a place sewn in for the piping.

yes, it came with the wire sewn in and is designed to fit over the original shape foam, I tried fitting it over the PK classics foam but it was too tight and I would have had to shave it to suit..
