I tore it down and built it back up. Gave it a leak down test, compression test, and timed the dyna s ignition, installed new coils and battery with fresh spark plugs. It checked to see if it sparks and it does..But! It still will Not start. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Did you get the float bowls mixed up ?
Only the LH bowl choke hole is drilled to pickup fuel, RH carb gets it's choke fuel from the crossover tube between the two.
Also make sure the carb sides are closing all the way.

Also make sure the primary ignition wires aren't crossed... will have spark but fire with pistons at bottom instead of top.

Yes me too,i have made that mistake years ago.
Just in case you haven't i'd like too add to that, my RD was a brand new bike at the time and broke down twice within two days of ownership. Why? Because the plugs weren't gaped. 0.8mm if my memory serves me right. Don't assume the plugs are pre gaped, they aren't.
Keep us posted.
regards Ted

I correctly re-gapped the spark plugs. And messed with the idle and mixing screws. The bike started but quickly died. So I'm thinking I got to find that carburetor sweet spot. I have DG pipes with stock air filters and carbon fiber reeds. So I might Also need to figure out the best jet sizes for my set up.

There is something wrong going on though.. Every third or fourth time I try and kick it over , there's like a pressure build up and a loud backfire Pop comes shooting out the pipes. Before it starts.? That dosnt seem normal. Any ideas about that situation?
