Yamaha DT3 rear exhaust mount was created by steam_biker
Does anyone make a replica rear exhaust mount?
It is an obsolete part, and mine is past it's best.
I can't be the only one with this problem.

I would imagine any short length of metal can be used and a grommet or such like fitted at the exhaust end to give a degree of rubber mounting.
Even if you did find a new one now, there's no guarantee that the rubber on it won't have deteriorated.

If that is the two pieces of metal with a rubber block between them like my RT3 and it’s all there but separated…I sand blasted the parts to get them good and clean then used super glue and a strong clamp to put them back together. A couple coats of flat black and looks and works like new. Been a few months and working great. Gotta get the surfaces spotless so the glue bonds at it’s best. Otherwise look on eBay…I got an NOS one as a spare but haven’t needed it.

Yes, it is the part that you're talking about. As far as I know, the RT3, uses the same part. I will try to repair it. I just thought that someone would have made a reproduction part, there have been many parts reproduced.

Modern YZ85 (all the way to 2021 model) uses a similar part to mount pipe ... I think it's shorter... but I've adapted to other applications without much fabrication. Can be bought at any Yamaha dealer for $20 to $25 and fits many bikes perfectly (like my DT50's).

I tried epoxy... fell apart... So I drilled a hole put a bolt with a nut that has the nylon insert... I only tightened enough to keep them together... It can still wiggle a bit if it needs too..

+2. I've been staring at an OEM for $145.00 for some time on Ebay.
