Getting ready to restore my 1970 CT1 was created by steve@sancobuilders.net

Hello everyone,
Getting ready to restore my 1970 CT1 and I was wondering if anyone knows where I can source the green paint, base and clear for this? Not sure if I want to try to paint it myself, or if anyone knows a good painter. I'm in So. Cal.

Thanks, Steve

Hi Steve, have you checked out the paint thread?  Here's the link:  www.yamaha-enduros.com/index.php/forums/...yamaha-paint-matches
I was a little hesitant in doing the painting myself but figured the worse that could happen is I waste some time effort and a little bit of money.  I'm a cheapo and also like to do things myself for personal satisfaction so I did all the painting on my 76 DT400 restoration, I must say I am really happy with it.  If you decide to do it yourself you really need to use the 2K clear paint, it is amazing stuff!
