L5TA Part Search was created by bdude

I am having a terrible time trying to find a front fender and the exhaust silencer.

Any suggestions? I have all but exhausted the remaining online parts dealers and eBay.

Thanks,

I have a fender  actually I have 2 fenders one on my bike and a spare.  Both are straight and have the cable guide.  One is rattle can painted grey and one is original. Here is a pic of the bike   125.00  take your pick.  I do not have a silencer but I do have a selection of other L5 Goodies

That is awesome and thank you. I would take the original one if you want to part with it. I’ve also been searching for the carrier rack. I believe someone put a seat from a 65 Omaha on mine.

As you can see my bike has the large chrome rack which bolts to the smaller painted rack. So I will sell the chrome rack for 2500 bucks and you get the complete bike and all my spares.  If you just want the original painted rack it is another 100 bucks.  The bike is running and drives  electric start works  horn works  signal lights work and brake and tail light and headlight work.  oil injection is working and adjusted.  I have no mirrors of this moment

As much as I would like to buy the whole bike to keep for parts, especially as the years go on, it is a little outside my scope at the moment.

My bike does have the small rack under the seat, all I am looking for is the larger carrier rack. I do appreciate the offer though. That being said, I would still take the front fender.
Thanks!

If you post pics of the seat I can tell you if it's off the 65 MG1-T Omaha Trailmaster.

The "trail" models came with a solo seat which it looks like you have.and from what little I can see looks original? The seat behind the main seat is an accessory/add on passenger (aka pillion) seat of some kind.  I've never seen one that big on an MG1-T but it's really just a cushion that bolts to the luggage rack so pretty universal.  Here's my current MG1-T...  had one as a kid and it had the same add-on rear seat but it was just bolted to the small rack. This one has the accessory  chrome rack sandwiched in between.
