RT1 For Sale was created by Pete-RT1

My RT1 is for sale. 5661 believed to be original miles (engine is on original bore).
Frame up restoration in 2020.

Great story behind this bike.

Not many of the 1970 model around and certainly not in this condition.
Sad to let her go, but I'm losing the use of my neighbour's garage and I have four other bikes.

Hi Pete, sorry you’re losing the use of your neighbours garage and having to sell one of your bikes. That bike has a great story.
l sent a letter (I included my e-mail address) to the address of the previous owner of my DT400 in Hesperia, California, but didn’t receive a response.
Sad face.
To be honest, as the bike had bent forks, buckled front wheel, bent handlebars etc etc etc, I wasn’t too surprised…

You can keep it in my garage. I can always fit one more.

"You can keep it in my garage. I can always fit one more."

1971DT250 it's a great collection, but not enough badge bikes.
Desperately needs a first year RT1 (the best one) to go with that RT1-B

Fortunately two of my buddies have offered me garage space, one of which is only 400 yards away.
I will still sell her because whenever I want to take a bike out I always go for one of the 175s.
I appreciate this is one of the worst months to sell a bike, but I'll keep bumping the post and see what happens

I thought the same when I recently sold my 250A and RT2. With it being this time of the year and price, I wasn't  expecting to sell either anytime soon. They both sold quick and asking price was no issue.

On this side of the garage are 3 more badge bikes plus there is another RT1B under construction.

And does this count as being a badge bike?
