Can someone help me identify model / year / country of my new 250 DT1.
where can i find a VIN table ?

I think it is a 1971 DT1E, I'm new to this restoration business though, so I will probably be corrected,  here is a link.  I've spent way more on my 1973 DT3 than I paid for a DT1E off the showroom floor.

VIN Tables are in the Tech Library...  most literature available is from the US models.  Sometimes other countries used the same sequence, sometimes not.

Probably a US DT1E as was said...  does it have a decal on the steering head?

Thx a lot. No decal on the steering head, it might have helped.

It seems that the bike comes from the states as i can't find it in the european VIN table.

i am now looking for a complete clutch actuator mécanism.
is it possible to find such a mechanism NOS or rebuilt ?

Check KDI Reproductions in the USA.  Should be a link in margin on most pages.  They have a brass replacement gear, might not be on website yet.

Or a member here might have a good one they can sell you...
