Lanes, Planes and Biblical Rains was created by Pete-RT1
With the sky looking less grey I decided a little ride out on The Greenie was in order.
A few country lanes and a couple of muddy trails sprinkled with a couple of engine off pauses to let some very polite horsey ladies pass by and all is good.
A few more country lanes and a stop off to see some of the planes taking off at a nearby airfield.
With the sky looking threatening I head back.
Five miles from home the heavens open in biblical fashion, rivers appearing in the road in a matter of seconds.
An inevitability of what's coming quite literally washes over me, The Greenie does not like the wet.
Two miles from home and it happens whilst waiting at the lights, the deafening silence as the engine dies.
I’ve been here before on this 51 year old beauty so no great drama, pop the plug cap, wipe off the water as best you can with wet gloves and a couple of kicks later and we’re off for another 200 yards before the pesky rain shorts out the plug cap once more.
Another wipe and a couple of kicks and it’s home free.
With soaked jeans and a smile on my face I look on the bright side, I won’t have to wash off the mud from the trails.

Matt, I think all the UK members should head down to Salisbury Plain for a few days of exploring.
Dave and I have already sorted the event name ShyteFest, that's as far as we've got

) and said that the route had to be changed at the last minute, due to the Army playing with some of their toys.

Well if i set out now i might get there in time on the HT1B.
I look like a sail when i'm on it and if there's a head wind the DSA doesn't seem to work.
Also the Dynamic Pro suspension goes a bit mental over speed ( hahahah no shit ) humps.
But you don't need the TCs going through roundabouts , just nail it in 3rd and the wheels stay where they should.
Strange thing i noticed about the HT1. Folk love it. Car drivers shout stuff and west highland terriers go nuts.
Women love the colour of it . Everyone's happy
