All I need is some piston circlips for an old '68 DT! - that's all.  Why are they so hard to find?

Umm...  Yamaha still sells them new.  Online dealers like RMATV-MC probably have them in stock or you could try your local dealer.

I looked online at a bunch of different vendors. One of my mentors long ago taught me not to spend inordinate amounts of time looking for parts or advice; said give it a good try, stop looking and ask others what to do or where to go. It's a better use of time than endless searching. Thx MarkT!
