DT1 Crankcase Question

I feel embarrassed to ask this, but I cannot determine what the hole in my crankcase is (see red arrow) ......... I believe it is supposed to have a plug in it?

Can anyone confirm for me please?

It isn't shown on the Yamaha parts breakdown shown on Partzilla site:

Yes a plug. It is probably shown on the transmission detail.
Edit...Look on the shifter detail.

Yup, those case plugs are usually shown in the transmission or shifter sections.

Regarding the shorter clutch actuator/sprocket cover, this bike has a smaller one that I've seen on several bikes. Were these an aftermarket part?

Not sure why someone would remove the plug....???

It is a discontinued part (unfortunately)......any suggestions on how I might find one?

It appears to be part number 90338-32031-00
