MY RECENT ACQUISITION 1968 DT1 was created by dirttrackstar

Hey all, Just acquired this 1968 DT1 from the original owners daughter. It came with all the original purchase paperwork, and is an amazing time capsule in brilliant condition. There is acid staining on the lower front of the rear fender, and it needs the usual package of cables, points and a tidy up, but I wont be restoring it, just making it neat and clean and safe. Tyre are checked and brake shoes are suspect so Ill replace those but thats about it. It even still has the fabric strap under the seat and the tools in the original bag with the string closure.
Im old enough to remember when I saw the first one in my home town in Australia, and realised my Bantam BSA was truly obsolete.

As Rod Stewart once sang:

And unless you want to be swinging from the nearest yard arm, perhaps you should not tell us what you paid for it. :OnFire

Mate--mate mate, just great they're still around. None like that left down here in NZ.

He's not responding. Maybe he's the one stole the monolith from the Utah desert, and he's not back from the long trek yet...
