1969 AT1-E front fender ? was created by RodT

I have a front fender for a 1969 AT1-e, and my question is an aluminum fender the correct one? I am fairly sure that it is , but I would like confirmation.

Yes, aluminum fenders were used on 1969-1970 models, then changed to steel in 1971.

Seeing that nice early fender reminded me that I can't remember seeing a "white mounting grommet or black mounting grommet" discussion for a while...

I have an early AT1 front fender I will be putting up for sale soon. Alloy fender, but apparently steel mounting points (as I can see a bit of rust). It has white grommets. You can get reproductions of either on eBay from a seller named "MotoDad" . I've gotten some bits from him before and been satisfied :OnFire .

And I think there is a NOS front fender for either a DT1 or AT1 on eBay currently. Coming from Japan if I recall correctly. Yours for ONLY $1000.00 ......... (plus shipping):EEEK

Mark,
On that note just started "refreshing" a DT1-S and noticed it has white (now yellow-ish) grommets on front fender, batt box & tail light bracket. Ordered new ones from Motodad.
Thanks,
Steve
