I've tried embedding links and images with the BBcode functions, but I always get a message saying "The links or images has been removed from your message because you aren't allowed to add them." Is there like a post limit or something I need to reach before I can send images? Tried Imgur and Flickr.

Once you've copied the link/BB code to an image, use the "paste" function and paste them there.

Yeah I'm still confused. Used the paste function and I can see the image when I edit the post, but it deletes it beforehand.

Paste near the cursor, you should get a "paste" button to press, and then a box to paste into after this.

The only reason I pointed towards the PO putting crap in the airbox was because the stuff in there looked too clean. No droppings, no bite marks in the food, nothin. There was a bit of a mix of random stuff though, which would line up with mice or something. Agreed that the weird double carb will likely be annoying and terrible, but I'm willing to at least mess with it and try it before I buy a replacement. The cut in the right hand crankcase cover was through the main oil passage from the pump, thru filter, and then thru the exterior oil pipe to the top end, so I'm pretty confident that caused it to fail. I can't remember the mileage off the top of my head and the only picture I have has the gauge covered in mud (thanks PO!), but I know it's less than 10k.

I see the "img" stuff in your post which I assume was an attempt with "embedding pictures"?  

I think maybe you''re trying too hard?  Simply paste the Imgur bbcode here.  Don't click on an icon and paste the link into a dialog box or anything...  just paste the bbcode link right into the text field where you type your post.  When you save the post, the image will be embedded.  You must use the Imgur BBcode...  I have never been able to use a "forum function" to insert photos with imgur bbcode.



Alternatively, you can just paste a link to a photo that will open when the link is clicked.

P.S.  I'll try to find out from the owner if there is a new restriction on photos for new members...  there didn't used to be so it would be new.

I went into your post #16 and added a pic.  If your account was blocked from pics, I couldn't do that.

Try this...  copy and paste the text below into the body of your post.  Or type it out by hand exactly just like you're writing a response.  Leave out the * I added in the img brackets on both ends...  [img*] >>> [img]
