So I got all the rust out of the tank and it looks very clean! So I premixed some gas filled the tank and installed the carbs after finding some bolts to mount it with. Sadly no luck with the start. It had spark and the carb set up was correct and clean so then I decided to compression test and it had only 100 psi. I pulled the top end and it looked okay in there but rings were stuck. The main bearing dont seem to be in great health either so I pulled the engine and decided I'm going to split the case and give this thing the refresh that it deserves. I got the bike on a good deal so I dont mind putting some into the engine and have some peace of mind. I've also got a hefty order in place with kdi for brakes and cables and such.

I have the same bike and restored it over the last few years. I’m working on the wiring now and I can’t find out where the flasher relay goes for the blinkers. Any help?

Probably doesn't matter a lot where you locate the relay so long as you can access the correct color wires. But on the other hand if the light brown & light brown & white are exiting the loom somewhere then the relay will be mounted within the range of the extension of the wires. Should be a mounting lug somewhere there handy I'd think. Can check on my magneto model AT1 but away at the moment.

It's normally mounted on the frame under the tank.
