Bad experience with ebay seller "two-stroked" was created by AirborneSilva

MODS;  if this isn't allowed please delete..

I bought a part from y 18 DT175 from ebay seller two-stroked, the part was not in it's original package but he had it listed as NOS and the correct part number I needed.  When I got the part it was not the correct part for my bike so I sent him an e-mail letting him know the issue...  Fast forward almost two weeks without hearing from him I decided to request a return, again fast forward almost a week and I get an e-mail from ebay asking me to review my purchase from him.  I gave him a negative review since I hadn't heard a word from him.  All of a sudden he's interested in e-mailing me and was not happy.  He said he works 14 hours a day and has to prioritize what e-mails he answers (I guess sending someone the wrong part isn't a priority), then he proceeds to go back and forth with me for two days and several e-mails why I didn't do things properly and that it's my all my fault.

The guy is a jerk, wouldn't take responsibility for anything, so if you buy a part from him buyer beware...

Thanks for posting, Tony.

His other feedback shows similar issues.

Seller's id is two_stroked.

I've got a similar ongoing issue with a UK ebay seller - too many listings ending at the same time, coupled with incompetence and likely a bit of a pork pie teller, to boot. I'd rather people worked efficiently and professionally, rather than just hard and for long hours!

He was a real jerk!  I found it ironic that all of a sudden he had plenty of time for e-mails after I gave him a bad review but before couldn't be bothered.  I wont be getting my refund as ebay closed my request but thankfully it was only a few dollars, probably would have cost me almost as much to return the part.

The Yamaha part number supersession for the air box wing bolt on the RD400 doesn't actually fit the bike - I wonder if the same has happened here?

Tony, are you able to post photos of the right and wrong parts?

I had a similar issue with a seller who sold me misrepresented crap, didn't care to respond after numerous attempts...then I leave objectively negative feedback and then I am the bad guy!  This must be the new normal woke safe space hug a puppy please don't criticize or I will go to pieces types I guess

I guess I've been lucky with all my eBay purchases because the few issues I've had were resolved with prompt responses and no need to return the original items.

Hey guys, Mark the wing bolt is too small...  Alan I don't have an original to show the difference but I will have to go back out on the hunt for a correct one.

Yeah two strokes is probably more like it, dude wouldn't take responsibility for any of his actions and claimed I didn't go about requesting a refund the right way.  As far as I know you're supposed to contact the seller to see if you can work it out, if not the put into ebay for a refund which I did.

I'm only out a few buck so it's not a big loss, I just hope by posting this I can save a fellow member from this clown!
