hey everyone, ive had my ag 100 bike for a few years my great grandfather gave it to me he couldnt get it running, i pulled the carby apart and cleaned it and put it back together. i can get it to run with the choke on but as soon as i turn the choke off it just shuts off, even when i adjust the screws, i have to hold the revs up a bit but as soon as theres any decent load on the engine it just dies
could anyone help me as i want to fix this bike up properly but i want to get it to where it with idle and ride around.

You've almost certainly got a blocked pilot jet in the carb .
As it's one of the smallest jets in there , it blocks fairly easily , when left sitting for extended periods .

I pulled it apart today and cleaned it and it’s still doing the same thing are there any wires that could be causing the problem or could it be the wrong carby I’ll attach a photo

Carb should have an ID number , usually stamped on the flange .

Yes, I would say so.
336 is the model code for the 1972 LS3, also a 100cc two stroke single. I'll leave it to others to say whether or not it is the correct carb for your bike, as I know very little about them (I'm in the UK).

Still sounds like the pilot jet is plugged, it's the really small jet deep in a small bore right next to the main jet & jet setter. Are you sure that passage is clear?
If yes, maybe the reed petals are lifted, that could cause idling issues.

Your carb should have an ID mark 49760
It looks like the carb you have on the bike isn't correct .
I have a list of specs , but probably not much point in giving them to you ,
until you can locate a replacement .
