Pete if I were near you and buying a bike, I would 100% get one of yours.  

The nickel plating thing was interesting.  I want to give that a go.

PABDT kind of you to say.
I recently sold The Doppelganger CT1-B and the very lovely '69 CT1, it was just too nice to ride.
When I sold the '69 I took a CT3 project as a part exchange. Freshly powdercoated frame with rechromed forks and a load of parts in boxes.
A lot of the stuff in the boxes wasn't for the CT3, so I have identified the parts and sold a lot onto others to help with their projects, I have a lot of parts to source for mine.
I also have a 1980 Honda CB250RS which I've been making into a street scrambler because I wanted a different type of project.
