Apparently I made a profile years ago and don't remember! Not a surprise, I have been fighting with my bike for years as I have slowly gained skills and knowledge and just recently got it running.

I have a JDM 1970 HT-1. My uncle's friend's father purchased it new in Okinawa while he was stationed on the base there. The key for this bike is still somewhere on the beach over there, so if anyone finds it, please let me know! When he came back to the US he and his buddies strapped it into the bomb bay of a P31 sub hunter, which is how it ended up here.

After that, his son road it for a while, then it was sold to my uncle, who used it in college in the mid 80's. After that it was parked in my grandparent's shed before it was given to me and parked in my parent's shed, eventually moving to my garage after I moved out. In all this time, it had completed just 2770km. Now up to 2880 (1790mi) after my last week of riding around.
