Rectifier quick question was created by Superdad60

Are these 2 rectifier wires correct?
Red to plus sign
White to squiggle shape

Charge battery for 5 min, says 6.4v so seems solid.
Key on, Flashers work but slowly fade out after 5 seconds then not working
Ground?
Bad battery?
Rectifier in the right way?

Thx
