Will a stator side crank seal cause pinging at low and steady rpm, planning on changing it tomorrow, already changed oil side. I'm sure it worn, hard to get a steady idle also

I don't really think so unless it's falling out in which case it'd affect total carburation.
Just my 2cents worth, but be interested to hear the outcome if changing that & not altering anything else.
Of course i've been wrong before--just can't remember when haha.
Probably yesterday!!.
Tighten that flywheel good & solid please.

Many crank seals have been replaced on these to no avail. If there is no oil passing through from the inside out I wouldn't be too eager to throw a new seal at it just yet.
The 74 360 is a difficult motor to get sorted out. Porting and head work help significantly as the stock squish clearance is terrible and the porting does a poor job of scavenging the cylinder.

My oil side pushed out and I replaced, read irratic idle due to ignition side failing,it's jetted good, just don't want damage from riding it
