1975 DT100B5 engine / frame 540-xxxx was created by tzsv4k

I've searched and don't see anything that tells the difference between a 1975 DT100B 437-xxx and a 1975 DT100B5 540-xxx. In the USA model listing it appears to be a compression difference. I have a 540-xxx bike that I'm using parts to restore a 74' MX100 427-xxx bike. Thanks for any info.

I've seen the * and + after the model listings which to me generally indicates a footnote?  I've never seen the footnotes though.

If anyone would know it would be Enduronut...  hopefully he'll see this and respond.
