DT400 Air Filter

DT400 Air Filter was created by hatrick1960

So, after the last topic regarding poor running and restricted air flow I want to purchase a new air filter.

The question is which one do I buy........ Genuine Yamaha or aftermarket? - Recommendations please

If you have the cage I'd go with genuine.

When I bought my DT400 it came with a K&N filter, I'll keep that since it's washable and I have the cleaning solution as well as the oil since I use a similar type in my Challenger.

I have the same filter on my DT2 as SCHU does, I did put a pre-filter on it though - both work great!
