Hi All. It came to my attention that the mayor part suppliers. (cmsnl, partzilla, yambits) use the wrong exploded view for the clutch and part numbers for DT175A,B and C. (again only for the clutch)This results in getting the wrong parts, as I did getting. But also a lot of wrong part numbers on eBay because everyone uses these sites to find the numbers.I notified cmsnl in January and they send me the correct list, however up to this date their site is not updated. For who is interested what seems to be the right list, see attachment.

What wrong parts did you get?

The DT175C has different parts than the A and B models so there has to be at least two different lists.

From the VIN you gave in the other thread (576 prefix) you have a C model which explains the wrong parts if you tried to use the A or B parts list.

It looks like the DT100ABC on the part sites. And the picture that I included is from a DT175C according to cmsnl.
So what I got in and was wrong was the push-rod. It was shorter and thicker but I needed something approx. 4.8mm X 122mm.
Wrong spring bolts and securing washer.

I also don't get a great deal of differences between the DT175 A B or C according available info, apart from the small ball between the two push rods.
Can someone tell the differences?

Trans shaft clutch rides on is different (smaller) on C as well as bushing and inner and outer hubs.  Pressure plate probably too.  Primary gears are different size compared to A/B.  Lots of changes.

Oh well.... You're right! Partzilla does have an option to choose, DT175C. My Bad.
And they show the correct image.
However other suppliers see the DT175 A B & C as the same thing, and so did I.
Probably because Yamaha's combined service manual also does. (see image, left top corner)
I would like to work on an A or B engine, just to see what is what. And it still makes ordering parts tricky.
