Hello everyone, I'm still in the process of restoring a us imported dt125a (1974), I need a new timing plate, I tried to set the timing and realise it was missing and I'm looking on here to see if it anyone has a timing plate they wouldn't mind letting go of or know where you can buy one in the UK, I know the part number is it - part no. 133-81132-10

Just mark 1.8mm btdc down the plug hole using a long nail or something held as vertical as you can considering its an angled plug hole. Then with the advancer held open have the points just cracking gap at 'that' point. Need to be gapped to about 15thou first then do the timing bit. Points plate can be moved 'within limits' to get the timing where it should be. Everything above you'll need to do anyway when the timing plate arrives so you will know where to sit it to have the mark on the plate aligning with the full advance mark on the advancer.--if that make any sense!!.
