DT360 clutch cog was created by peteyam54

Hello again, so more advice please! I am rebuilding the clutch side having fixed my 2nd gear problem (in a separate post), and wondered why the cog behind the clutch and the gearbox shaft cog, don't sit flush to each other? There is a large spacer behind the clutch cog (p/n 363-16154-00) which I believe is correct, and I can't see anything else that is wrong - does this look OK? Thanks. Pete

I think the DT360 might have had a single thick spacer behind the clutch kick start gear?  It's been too long since I worked on one to be sure.

(The gear you are questioning is the clutch kick start gear)

Thanks for the responses. I’m pretty sure it’s all ok and the kick start gear (thanks for identifying it), is supposed to sit proud so that the clutch basket has sufficient clearance. All back together now, cheers

If I remember correctly this needle thrust bearing has two races, those being the thick washer and the thin one just like you have it in pic.  You have to be sure that everything is just right with that collar and the washers, I know because I crushed my thrust bearing!  BTW the thrust bearing comes with the thin washer as a single part number, which confused the heck out of me initially
