Electronic ignition identification was created by Jammyyammy
Hi - one of the first jobs on my newly acquired DT400B is to fit a Rex's electronic ignition (and 12v conversion). I got a surprise when I took the flywheel off to find it didn't have any points!
I'm assuming that this is all ordinal, except for the electronic pick/up that replaces the points?
I would be really grateful if someone could tell me a bit more information. Thanks in advance....

It looks a lot like what was used on the 1974 DT360A.

Looks like a really, really nice example of the original DT400b ignition system. (DT400 came with CDI, not points.)
