Will this 12 volt battery work in my 76 DT400? was created by AirborneSilva

Hi guys,

I recently converted my 76 DT400 to 12 volt but the battery that was supposed to be a replacement for it wont fit so I've been searching for one that will. Will the below battery work in my bike? Thanks for the help! Tony

Hi Tony,
the OEM battery is 112mm lenght, 48mm widh and 98mm hight.
I will change to Powerdynamo 12V conversation next month, but plan to purchase this Battery www.autobatterienbilliger.de/Intact-Bike...batterie-GEL12-4A-BS
The dimensions will fit. As this side is German, maybe the YTR4A-BS name could lead to US supplier.

Thank you Guido, I'll check that out. The install mechanically was really easy, Mark T helped me out with a couple of electrical questions I had, once he explained it then that too was really easy! Bike starts right up and and idles well, haven't gotten to ride it yet but I'm very happy with the install and results! Tony
