I tried to insert the push rod before putting thr clutch cover on. On my 78 DT400 you can install the push rod through the clutch end so I didn't even think about putting it in before putting the cases together. At least the Yamabond was easy to redo. I watched for a blaster on craigslist for a few months and one popped up for $100 and I bought it. It looked almost new and came with 25# of glass bead. I have since modified it to feed the gun from the bottom instead of the pick up tube in the top. Works much better, but if I use too long I get a moisture problem. The press is from HF. I bought it several years ago to replace bushings in BMW control arms instead of buying replacement control arms. Paid for itself the first use. Two things I still need. A high quality vise and bench grinder.
