here’s a couple of pictures showing the progress.

basically ready for a test ride.

starts so nicely. Can’t wait to see how it runs on the road.

basically a full mechanical rebuild
caliper and master rebuilt
new old stock hydraulic hose
new brake pads and shoes
new wheel bearings and seals
new tyres
new sprockets and chain
full engine rebuild top and bottom
new clutch frictions
all new gaskets
new Tacho and speedo cables
New clutch cable
New clutch pushrod.
new and brake levers
new mirrors
New fasteners on engine
New exhaust and elbow
basicallt all new rubbers all over
new hub dampers.
new coil plug, boot points and condenser
New fork seals and dust boots
New carb gaskets and air filter

and a heap of other small things and a heap of ultrasonic cleaning

a bit of paint work to tidy it all up.

probablt will just replace the indicators as some of the lenses are faded and won’t pass rosdworthy in Australia as they’re pretty strict here. But otherwise it’s 100% dialled in mechanically and leak free so should have no problem.

will take it for a ride break the engine in hopefully this week.

sorry about typos. Phone screen badly smashed lol

Well done. Lots more patience than me that’s for sure. Look forward to the test ride results. Be sure to run a plug cold enough when you start giving it heaps. Not like “stupid me” when I reluctantly let my boy go down our road a few years ago on my RX forgetting I had the lawn mower plug in it but did say “just take it easy”. 30 minutes later he’s pushing it back with a hole in the piston. Said it started slowing down so I changed down & gave it more throttle (as you do haha). Probably wasn’t any throttle left anyway.

Here’s a photo of first prototype.
optmosed twin diffuser twin baffle chamber. Wil do belly stinger and integrated muffler on the rear section. I never liked the bare stinger with a muffler hanging off the end.

It’s completely stock. Running b8-hs ngk and looks a little rich.

prob could go back to 120 main. It’s 125 st the moment but 2400ft above sea level wonder if that’s why it’s running rich

rings bedding nicely great compression. Easy to start first kick cold
