Well that went better then I expected. I used an old Weller to connect the wire. Due to the larger tip on this gun, I had be really careful with the brown/white wire so close. I simply took my time and applied the the wisdom of others to get er done. Flashers work  perfect and now off to the DMV.
Another survivor back in service. Thanks all for the help !
