NHSTEVE,
They are automotive drip pans made by Blitz. 3ft by 2ft. I have 2 side by side. I screwed them into the bench. great for tearing engine apart and laying out parts.
I think i got them at a automotive parts store. I have had them for years so not real sure.
thanks

Running video of the 69 CT1 175,
Still have a few things left to do like install the correct bulbs in the headlight and taillight. Has a 35/35 in headlight, should be a 25/25. Taillight is wrong too. Tidy up the wire harness a bit and then put about 10 to 20 miles on it. I am running a 80:1 mix in the gas tank with a proper working oil pump. Will drain after the 10 to 20 miles and put straight gas in it. So far she runs great. Must say out of all 4 bikes this one is the most impressive for it's size.
Yes the RT1 360 has the most power, The DT250 is the best all around enduro, The AT1 is the easy bike to ride. Small, low seat height with electric start, turn signals and a swiss watch smooth running engine but this CT1 is loud, fast and rev's quick and feels light. Wants to lift the front wheel in 1st and 2nd with ease and i am not even running it hard. Only thing i don't like is that 350-18 front tire. You can really feel it riding around on the street and tight turns in my garage and driveway.
Talk about a strong running engine. Once broken in it should be a absolute joy to ride. If using this bike for street only i would gear it up as it has plenty of grunt to pull taller gears.
The pipe is about 1.25 lbs lighter then the AT1 pipe. (same pipe) Of coarse it's been opened and modified. I installed it on the AT1 and it helped a bit but surprising not as much as i thought it would so the AT1 pipe is clean & free flowing. It's just that the CT1 has a much stronger engine and benefits from the pipe more.
It's a good looking bike in person. Clean with very nice paint. Powder coated frame. Gas tank is clean inside. Basically everything is new on the bike. Strong running engine, Everything works on the bike. I was able to get it back to its original looking condition as best as possible. Looks much better then when i purchased it. If i could only find a 3.25-18 trials tire.

Last post on this thread, all done.
Replaced all the light bulbs on the bike with correct size bulbs. Now lights are brighter at idle and much brighter as you rev the engine. good to go. Also rerouted wire harness at the gas tank to headlight bucket different to clean it up.
Ended up taking the new oversized 3.50-18 Shinko tire off the front. I had enough of that. I had a older Yokohama 3.25-18 hanging on the wall. Old but excellent condition, no dry rot or cracks anywhere. rubber soft and pliable. What a difference. Not only in how it looks but much better out riding the bike. Steering is much lighter & handles better.
I will leave it up to who ever buys the bike what tire they want. If using the bike for back roads, trail riding or going down to the corner store once in a while i would leave the Yokohama tire on it. If using the bike for mostly fast or long road rides above 50mph i would recommend installing the new over size Shinko even as bad as it is.
All that's left is to put about 10 to 20 miles on it and see if anything pops up.
Out of these 4 bikes this CT1 is hands down the winner when it comes to being impressive and fun to ride. The RT1 is next, then the AT1 and last the 68 DT1. The DT1 is the best all around enduro but nothing stands out. Of course this is just my opinion. I am sure others would think different.
See ya next time.
