I was able to find one of the "overlay" sprockets on ebay...  it's smaller but same idea.  I kind of remember CT (cycle trends) may have made them originally?  Or at least I think that was the first brand I remember seeing as a kid...  but could be wrong...  so long ago.

Yamaha did have dual sprocket machines.  This was an aftermarket thing.  RT325 and Type One says they had plastic ones which I don't remember...  Type One said this one is plastic so that's very interesting.

I remember plastic levers and of course when Preston Petty came out with maybe the first unbreakable plastic fenders...  still remember the neighbor getting one and twisting it like a pretzel...  us kids were just amazed...  that was a big deal when most fenders were metal or maybe fiberglass and got bent/broken easily and often.

T1…Came across a 1st edition June 68 DT1 service manual and bought it. I noticed a picture of the original gas tank under bracket in the manual and looks like the one on EBay.

Attached are excerpts from my early ‘68 DT1 Parts Catalog.  While this and my later ‘68 parts guide both show the tank stay to look like the one for sale on eBay, you will see in the parts list and noted at the bottom of the page that at S/N #4586 the tank stay bolt was changed from 6mm to 8mm.  The shape of your tank stay remains a mystery.
