That's a nice clean carb Alan!  And by the 285 code it's the larger VM30 "MX" (motocross) version vs the VM26 for the standard 250. 

Should sell quick!

Yes, 30mm bore on the flange side.

I have to say that the style of the float valve had me scratching my head for a few moments!
