Small rear bracket goes from the exhaust to the shock mount. I believe my basket case Gina needs one. Please use my email if you have something. This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

I got some repros for my two bikes but, last time I checked, the seller had sold out.
I've no idea if this is a bona fide seller, but they're showing one in stock (see link). Note that they're in Australia.

If memory serves that is essentially a bit of flat stock with a slight kink in it. You could temporarily fabricate one in order to mount up your exhaust while you searched for the correct one/reproduction to pop up?

You are correct, sir!
2141477100: Stay, Muffler Yamaha - buy the 214-14771-00 at CMSNL
The repros I bought were for my DT3 and RT2 which, of course, had a rubber damper between two halves of the metal mount, so apologies for any confusion that I might have caused.

I probably will end up making something. It would be nice if I had a traced template to start with. The main bottom bolt does most of the support work. I believe most bikes now have a fabricated rear exhaust mount if anything.
thank you everyone

I decided to try a generic exhaust stay that had a similar part number. It was a eBay $10.00 guess.

I have asked a friend to trace on cardboard the mount he use’s which could be aftermarket or OEM, I don’t know? I am not real keen on having to remove the shock bolt to remove the pipe although it can be removed on the other side on the M6. I probably will just put the cardboard template in my toolbox in case I ever decide that I need another one and don’t want to re-fabricate what I have already done. I’m actually pretty happy with what it is. I’m not concerned with weight or originality on Gina the Basket Case 71’ DT1. I have over 65 hours in the bike I would not sell it for anything. You don’t know Gina… Gina sold on eBay possibly 2 years ago to someone else.

I’m thinking that bonded rubber dampener is going to unbond itself from the steel plates with the amount of side loading it appears to have. Mine let loose and had nowhere near that much deflection. I ended up drilling thru it all to nut & bolt the pieces together. It’s been fine ever since.
