It looks like I’m going to be replacing a few tach, speedo, control cables. Who is the go to supplier for quality, OEM looking control, instrument cables? I like NOS for fit and finish but I’m guessing these are impossible to find and pricy?

Appearance of cables from KDI is pretty good. Finding OEM for earlier models is strictly hit-or-miss. Only deviation I have spotted is the ends of the oil pump cable is not quite as big as OEM. Still functional though.

I have been very happy with KDI cables, as well as seats, rubber, and other parts. I usually buy a complete set of cables for the Yamaha enduros, and save time searching for each cable separately from different sources.

Dave also sells the clutch actuator worm drive . I have just bought one from him as mine is split on the DT1.

How about a review of that actuator once you've installed and tested? Maybe a pic or 2 of the installation?
