I know they aren’t museum pieces, but that’s the fun.  I told one guy I left the scuffs on the dt3 tank cause some dumb kid who shall remain unnamed tipped it over couple times, that’s memories.  Plus I drive em every day I can.

serious note, I had many people wonder if I would work on other peoples bikes.  Well, not yet.
i know what you're thinking—the guy with the dumbest questions and they want him to fix something!  You might be right. I have learned so much. Gotta remember I started with zero motorcycle mechanical knowledge and limited tools.  Thanks to everyone who has answered my dumb questions, I owe ya!  I tried to give credit where credit is due and told people some stuff I just don’t have the skill so I sent it off.  Thanks to all of you!

seriously considering working on a couple  xs650s.  One was also dads, who got tired of it not starting and pushed it in the grainary and went and bought a Harley.  The other is a guy in town who is hoping I will get his going.  It’s super nice, I think likely just needs fresh fluids, oil and filter, plugs, and maybe carbs gone through….
