1.  LOGIN to IMGUR then click images.   To post an image, upload it to imgur first by clicking NEW POST.

Mark has posted the same info previously. However, it might have been within a thread about something else, so please don't delete yours!

Thanks for this information and taking the time to post. Does this actually put the image in the post instead of a link? Sorry for being a little slow on the uptake.

If so, it is a great “how to”.

I don’t seem to get past stage 3. I don’t seem to be able to get the list of links to copy the BB code that you show? I am using iPad so maybe that’s the issue?

Don’t worry as I am a lost cause with tech, but I just wondered if it was a simple thing I am doing wrong.

Best regards, ian.

Nice job PABDT!

Works perfectly with Safari on a Mac...  you need to go to your images (should be a grid of thumbnails of all the photos you've uploaded), click on the image you want,  (That step isn't shown in a picture, it's written as step 3) and then when that single image opens the menu with BBcode is to the right.

I don't have an iPad but seems odd it wouldn't work?

DOH!  I think Schu mentioned this before...  with iOS (which is what iPads and iphones use), IMGUR does not let you see the images uploaded TO imgur and stored there.  You can only see pics on your local device as far as I can tell using a borrowed iPad.

I tried with both Safari and the Imgur App.  Maybe I'll try other browsers or something.  But it might be an imgur shortcoming.

Tinker Man, try clicking on "POSTS" using Ipad and then make sure to click on public and change to ALL or HIDDEN..

After selecting "POSTS" *(if you have IOS or "IMAGES" otherwise) you have 3 choices, ALL, PUBLIC, HIDDEN. Note, default uploads are hidden and default viewing is public. Make sure when viewing to select ALL or HIDDEN if you don't see images in public mode.

Thanks PABDT,
I only get the option of hidden or public. Default is hidden and says for sharing outside Imgur and then the only options I get after uploading are the second picture. I use copy link. I can’t find anything else no matter what I press. Nice to know I am not on my own Schu

Not to worry and a big thanks for your persistence.
