Well I recruited 3 guys to come swing a leg over my 175s and ride to a couple bars for burgers and beers. The 4th guy ended up having to work, so we had to leave one of the 175s at home.
If this link works it should take you to 3 videos that one of the guys took with a bar mounted camera. The second video is loong and booring, unless you just want to enjoy the scenery of our Michigan back roads. You can always skip ahead or skip it all together. It was the ride to the first bar which ended up being CLOSED!

His camera has a 360 mode which he used for a few seconds in the third video when we rode to the second bar. It was a fun day and we only had one mishap which was a chain derailment on my CT1C. We tightened it up as needed and carried on. It was a beautiful day and we will do it again on the bigger bore bikes next time.
However I was surprised that these guys had a hard time starting the bikes. Evidently they were using wimpy kicks and would almost get it started, which as you all know if you mess up and almost start one of these it often means you flooded it. So I would come over and hold it wide open and swat it to life for them. So maybe the big bore bikes are not an option. One of the guys had never kick started a bike……ever. And he rode to my house on a brand new Triumph triple cylinder sport bike putting out 170-HP!!

When you want a burger, the Raft is the ONLY place to go! We usually get there by little boat or jetski. What day did you go?

It was Saturday July 6th. There was hardly anyone there. Everyone left town for the Holiday. My son keeps his boat right there at Bouvier Bridge Marina. We used to snowmobile across the frozen bay to The Raft in my younger days. Back when the bay actually froze over and they held AMA sponsored ice races. I miss those days.

I always keep my eyes open for expansion chambers. I have scored on 9 of them so far and the surprising thing is most of them have never been used. I have been chasing MAKOTOSUN for his DT400 pipe but he finally said it will never be sold. So I backed off.
