Wow. This is one well preserved 78 DT250E that has recently been posted on the Bring a Trailer auction site.

bringatrailer.com/listing/1978-yamaha-dt250e-3/

I was drawn to the auction since the 78 I bought was a basket case that looked nothing like the bike in this auction. What I don't understand is how there are so few miles on the bike being auctioned. Was it lost for 40 years? Caught in an estate? Simply purchased by somebody who didn't love it?

She looks pretty good for sure. 84 pics hell that's take the prize. I'll be the baddie then, just because. Pic 77 the oil line clamp is down the tube. Should've left that pic out. & brake pedal stop bolt looks long or something going on. Umm--hope its not one of the forums bikes. Might be one soon as looks original & unmollested.

It amazes me the things that get noticed in photos by the seasoned veterans on this forum. I could send you a single photo on one of my bikes and you wouldn’t know where to start!

Why does everyone want the license plate frame?
I still have the springs and wing nuts on mine.
