Yamaha DT100/DT125FC Main Ignition Part Compatibility Question was created by Yanduro

I have just purchased a Wiring Harness for a DT100/DT125FC (558-82590-20) for my motorcycle. I am now looking for a "Main Switch Ass'y" for it and according to my parts list book I need a "443-82508-21" I was wondering if I could use a "437-82508-22-00" instead and have no issues?

Any help?

CMSNL appear to have an image of both switches and the four wires appear to be the same.

I can't tell from the photos if the connectors on the end are the same type - if they aren't, then you'll need to adapt.

Whilst the wires are the same, check the connections diagrams (aka "legends") in the service manuals or wiring diagrams, to see if there are any differences.
