Having a sleeve made. Ductile or grey cast iron? was created by turbodan

As the title says, looking for opinions on which material. I would like to use something similar to what yamaha used originally. I understand ductile cast iron is more wear resistant but grey cast iron has better thermal expansion characteristics. Any thoughts?
